Asian Rapunzel.

I've been dying my hair since I was 14/15. 

Once a year.

More frequently as the years go by, especially after I turned 18. 

There's nothing natural about my hair, aside from the 1cm regrowth every month.

Nothing beats the smell of Ammonia and the satisfaction of having my hair different colours.

I don't have a problem with black hair. I do get tired of people saying I could look like the grudge sometimes though. It's not my fault I let my hair grow out, and I'm currently pale as fuck. 

I'm gonna go super blonde.

One day.

Monday 15th October - Anthony's Birthday Celebrations.

His birthday was actually on Sunday the week before (7th October).

Dinner at Mr Yakitori. Chicken Donburi with extra Japanese Mayo and an orange juice.

Gateau House Chocolate Mousse Gateau (with Sprayed Chocolate)  

Green tea ice cream with whipped cream & strawberry sauce.

  

Creepy FOTD - bung eyed to the max.

Crappy OOTD - Orange/Coral tuxedo blouse with over-sized black cardigan and Pastel/Neon green jeans. Don't have any full length mirrors in the house, so sister's one will have to do. Changed my wedges to a pair of Adidas'.

On my way to obesity

I weighed myself recently. Stupid idea... now I'm paranoid about being 'fat'. Asian fat. Not generic fat.

What doesn 't help is my unhealthy obsession with food.

Example : The only reason I went to the city, and up that hill to Hobson Street.

Pocky ！！！ Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

They were on sale for like $3.99 I think - Usually sells for $7-9 depending on the store. 

My favourite is actually the Oreo ones (that I've had ONCE in my life and haven't been able to find again （￣へ￣）；； ). Strawberry is the second best flavour - it's heart shaped too! Super cute~

I dislike the original one the most ; mainly because I'm not a big fan of chocolate - plain chocolate, especially dark chocolate but I bought it anyway coz it contains more pocky.. ==

Anyway... Thanks Delayne & Andy for coming up to the Korean Mart with me just to get these... wahahahaha ♥

False Hope

Beautiful sunny weather. Clear blue skies, very little clouds and a nice breeze to cool things down.

Actually sitting outside for once, tanning my pasty white Asian legs. 

The angle and the bulge in my shorts near my crotch makes it look like I could have a penis.... lol.

And yes, that's one of my many cats chilling with me. Did you notice him? :)

Terrible Tuesday

I was the 100th order of the day at Burgerfuel! :D hah. Totally irrelevant photo but whatever. Yes, that's what I had for lunch.Yes, I had lunch at 4pm, coz I ate breakfast at 12 XD

Macarons from Gateau House for 'dessert' .... I didn't even have dinner that night. Strawberry (best flavour), blueberry and Caramel! :3 might attempt making them soon!

Lucy! Being all derpy and cute in IMAX~ hahaha made the bitch suffer! She had to carry a single white rose with her down Queen Street all day w/ her belated birthday presents ^.^ she made me carry a bouquet of flowers down Queen Street mid last year coz it was part of my belated 19th birthday present. Heh. Btw, excuse the shopping bags in the way..... We went a bit crazy =="

Classy mirror shot in the IMAX bathroom. LOL. Btw, apparently the upstairs ones behind the actual main cinema floor are the cleanest (aside from staff ones), so go to those if you can! I got my hair cut~ :3 it doesn't look much different... I only got it thinned out & shortened a bit ^^ I can't say good-bye to long hair just yet.... And I didnt wanna risk a fob fringe for 4+ weeks so I stayed with the long bangs, although they apparently are what make me look old. Might re-dye or bleach my hair. Professional or DIY? Shall wait another month to decide! :)

Also, the weather was shit. It's spring right now but it was a rainy, windy and cold day T___T" Hence the cardigan and scarf, still froze my butt off until I caught the 8pm bus home~ :'(

Picked up some macarons at Gateau House on Monday night~ ^^

Save the Passion fruit, Caramel and Blueberry ones that are now covered in debris from the other unlucky two.

R.I.P Strawberry and Chocolate macarons , you two were so beautiful.

Although you look like shit now, you're still fucking delicious

A bit pricey at $2.80 per macaron, but seriously, the most amazing ones I've ever had.

P.S. Always, always, always go for the strawberry!

One step closer to death

There's many different ways to look at a birthday, to me, it's one step closer to death. 

Gateau house cakes are probably the closest thing in New Zealand to my favourite Hong Kong/China bakery cakes, even though the price tag attached to the cakes are horrendously over-priced , the cakes are absolutely amazing and you're definitely getting your money's worth. If you can afford to splurge on a cake, I recommend the ones from Gateau house as they really are 'the home of excellence'. You will not be disappointed, I promise.

 

This is their fresh cream gateau - 01 cake I received as my present for my 20th birthday earlier this year. The price for this cake ranges from $46 for a standard sized one to $260 for an XXXL 2-tiered sized one. According to my ex, it costed $70 which would make this one the large size.

This cake is described as :

Three layers of delicate sponge filled with mixed fruits and fresh cream. Decorated with swirls of fresh orange liqueur cream and topped with seasonal fruit

From what I remember, the cake had pears or peaches in between the layers of sponge and cream. Excuse the bad photo, I don't have any cake cutting grace.

 
To end this post, an ugly picture of me to show that nothing remains 'beautiful'. After all, this is the result of an argument, waterworks, karaoke, alcohol, bitches and a shitty birthday.

Happy 2012 guys, only 4 and a half months to go before it's 2013. Make the most of it, I mean, "YOLO" right?
